Blue Oyster has a thick and meaty texture which makes it a really versatile mushroom to use in the kitchen.
Blue Oysters have a mild, earthy flavor, some would say they are savory. It is an excellent ingredient for soups and pastas.
These mushrooms should not be eaten raw.
Store the mushrooms in the vegetable drawer of the refrigerator in a paper bag.
